House Rules. Week1.
So far I dislike the book. All the jumping from one character to another drives me nuts. I do feel sorry for the brother. I remember growing up with this kind of life not as bad but still same feelings of never having a life of my own. I can't imagine how I would react if I saw someone wrestle their 6 foot kid to the ground in a store. I guess now I might understand a little more because of this book. I will keep reading and hope it gets better. I would still get my kids shots but I haven't seen the research. In my life I have only met one person who got a illness from shots and the shot brought out the illness that already was there. I think there are lots of things that cause a lot of illnesses now a days.

Theo has really had it hard. I understand why he breaks into peoples homes for the normalcy he doesn't get at home. I also would be a little shocked to see someone wrestling an adult down like that, but also I will probably be more sympathetic if I saw it and maybe a little less shocked. I also haven't seen the research so it's a tough call!
